Glass-clear polyester casting resin, the most popular of all the systems due to its ease of use and lower cost.

Best rigid mould types are polypropylene (PP) and High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastics. Can be used with flexible moulds (RTV Silicones, Latex Rubber) but may need extra finishing/polishing to achieve best results.

Ideal for embedding and encapsulating items like coins, shells, beads etc, the cured material can be machined shaped and polished to a glass clear surface. Has been used many times to produce clear bar tops, countertops etc. Commonly used to create effective paperweights, accepts transparent & opaque pigments. 2% MEKP Catalyst included. Items requiring greater UV protection should be cast with our Deep-Pour Polyester Casting Resin instead.
