Fillite

Fillite is a lightweight, low-density spherical powder, which can be added to resins to bulk out producing lightweight castings. Fillite can be used to replace denser mineral powders and resins where the benefit may be overall weight reduction, improved thermal insulation, reduced shrinkage, improved fire resistance or simply to give a stone-look to a casting. Can be added to most resins up to approx 50% by weight.
