Gravel Bonded Aggregate Trial Kit. UV Stable System.

This trial kit contains sufficient material to aggregate-bond approximately 3 square metre to a depth of 15mm.

A good sound base is the key to longevity in all resin bound systems. The area should be clean, dry and free from loose material and dust, with any cracks or faults repaired beforehand. If unsure, please feel free to ask for advice.

First apply the sealer/primer. Allow approximately 20 mins for this to become tacky. The area will then be ready for the resin bound matrix to be applied.

The resin and hardener components should be thoroughly blended together in the resin bucket. The aggregate should then be poured from the bag into the supplied mixing bucket.

Pour the blended resin over the dried aggregate, tumbling the contents or using a drill and mixing paddle, until an even layer of resin coats each granule of aggregate.

If a mixer is not available then remember to split the resin/hardener mix into 3 even amounts and process one 25kg of aggregate in the supplied container at a time. Repeat for other two bags of aggregate.

Remember, once the resin and hardener are mixed together they will have a pot life, so do not delay the tumbling or drill and mixing paddle operation.

This mixture should then be applied to the primed area and trowelled flat to a depth of 15mm.

Leave for 12 hours before walking on the surface.

Allow approximately 7 days for the material to fully harden before subjecting to heavy traffic.
